What the project needed.
Amenity spaces are a big part of what sells a multifamily community, and they take more abuse than any single unit. At 900 on Lee, the resident kitchen, lounge, and game room see heavy foot traffic every day, along with spilled drinks, dragged chairs, rolling carts, and private events that run late into the night.
Traditional flooring in spaces like these tends to follow a predictable path. Grout lines darken, planks scratch and separate, and seams start to lift. Within a few years the floor looks tired, and replacing it means closing the space, disappointing residents, and spending the budget all over again.
What FlowStone delivered.
FlowStone installed The Quarry collection across 250,000 square feet of shared resident space at 900 on Lee, covering the resident kitchen, lounge, and game room in one continuous surface.
Instead of planks, tiles, or sheets pieced together on site, FlowStone is poured in place and finished by hand in a three step process. The installer's trowel work shapes the final look, giving The Quarry its natural stone character and subtle movement. Because there are no seams or grout lines, there is nothing to trap dirt, crack, or lift over time, and daily cleanup takes minutes.
The system is engineered for heavy traffic and rated for more than 20 years, so the floor that greets residents on opening day is the same floor they will see years from now.
